Air Freight Export:

Be able to complete a job start to finish;

• Contact shippers.
• Arrange collections.
• Cut MAWB & HAWBs, displaying knowledge of country requirements, IATA rates & airline requirements ie operator variations, Promo references etc.
• Demonstrate negotiations with airlines for maximum margin.
• Complete Customs entries and have knowledge of slightly more complex procedure codes. (IPR, BONDED,EXPORT LICENCING etc).
• Provide quotations &understand market rates.
• High customer service levels throughout providing agents post flights, departure advice etc.
• Additional bonus qualifications - Dangerous Goods trained & Aviation Security trained up to level CO(Cargo Operative).
• Ability to provide a safety net to ensure nothing is missed.
• Adhere to a fast-paced environment with strong email management & response time.
• You will be communicating with a wide range of both external customers, agents as well as internal stakeholders, so strong and confident communication both verbal and written is a must.

Any MULTI MODAL knowledge outside of Airfreight is a bonus.

Preferences:

• Minimum 5+Years Experience in the industry.
• CDS Export Experience- Full Capability
